Road runners v skiff rowers

What a great evening at the loch last night for the first (hopefully of many) Runners vs Rowers competition.

Mary and Greg took to the water with eager crews while the runners talked tactics and raced off into the trees. For spectators it was exciting to catch a glimpse of runners at various points through the trees while counting the lengths of the skiffs! Who was going to win was completely unknown right til the end!
We are delighted to be awarded a cheque from the Road Runners. Wonderful community spirit with a local club supporting another. The atmosphere last night was fantastic and we look forward next year!!

Forfar Road Runners are delighted to support Forfar Sailing and Watersports Club.
The club presented a cheque to the newly formed charity.
Tonight we raced the rowers in a runners vs rowers competition. Forfar Road Runners took home the trophy this year. We hope to make this a regular event.
