Welcome to the Forfar Sailing and Watersports Club
Nestled in the heart of Forfar Loch Country Park, our club offers a vibrant and welcoming environment for water sports enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re into dinghy sailing, skiff rowing, paddleboarding, kayaking, or simply enjoying the scenic beauty of the loch, there’s something here for everyone.
Our family-friendly club is affiliated with the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and is dedicated to promoting safe and enjoyable water-based activities. With a variety of club boats available for members, a calendar full of events and training sessions, we provide ample opportunities to learn, compete, and have fun on the water.
We continuously strive to be part of the Forfar community, actively collaborating with local organisations such as the Men’s Shed and Strathmore Cricket Club on initiatives like the community skiff project as well as supporting fundraising events.

Another successful beginners session
We have another group of new members learning to sail, and today with the low wind speed it's going to be interesting. Lower wind speed means more time to react when it is going wrong, but also harder to keep moving. We have 3 lasers, the wanderer and a feva out today.
