When do we row?
Rowing is weather dependant and crew dependant. That said, we dont let it stop us. We row throughout the year.
If you would like to try rowing, please use our contact form to get in touch. Alternatively, you may wish to pop down to the club one morning and say hello.
Regular sessions are Saturday and Sunday mornings. These are relaxed, social sessions for all abilities. A weekend morning session is the ideal time to come along and try rowing. Our members are always delighted to welcome new people into the boat.
Throughout the week, in the day there are a number of members who make use of the loch. Some like to practice technique, race as well as enjoy the scenery and wildlife.
In the summer months we do our best to be on the loch for the sunrises and sunsets. There is no better way to start or end a busy day with time on the loch with a crew.
Our members are always welcome to requests a session. Our team of RPs (responsible person) do their best to add sessions that members would like to see happening.
Throughout the year the skiffie calendar includes full club events on and off the water. We host skiff regattas and welcome other skiff clubs to join us at Forfar and there are a number of events in other locations for members to take part in. The thrill of rowing on the coast is something skiffies talk about time and time again.
