Club facilities

  • Clubhouse

The Clubhouse has a communal area and kitchen; a race box; male and female changing rooms, showers and toilets.

Keys for the Clubhouse will be available on request and after approval by the Committee. Please contact the Treasurer in the first instance.

Members are entitled to store personal boats, sails, etc at the Club (except Skiff members).

Boat stances are allocated at the start of the season and every effort will be made to accommodate all boats. Boats are to be removed at the completion of the sailing season.

The Spar Room, Sail Room and Garage are available for storage of sails, foils, etc.

Although it is anticipated that members will have their own clothing and buoyancy aids, a number of items, such as buoyancy aids, are kept in the changing rooms for use by those members who are just getting started.

  • Club Account

For members’ convenience, and to minimise any cash kept on the premises, the Club runs an account system. Payment should be made (preferably by BACS) to the Club and written into the Club account book. Payments for Club Boat Hire and Tuck Shop can then be made from the member’s account.

Accounts are to be kept in credit at all times.

  • Club Boats

Club boats can be hired for a nominal fee and current rates are displayed in the Club Room. The hirer shall record the use of the boat and payment made in the Boat Hire Logbook. Any issues with the boat are to be recorded in the issues log.

Payment by Club account is preferred.

See section 13 for information regarding the security and storage of club boats, sails and foils.

  • Tuck Shop

Tea, coffee and a variety of snacks and soft drinks are available for members in the tuck shop. A price list for these is displayed nearby.

Payment by Club account is preferred.
