Fun Regatta in full swing
Today's fun regatta is in full swing with boats from Dundee, Caterlain, Broughty ferry and our own 2 on the water. Several fun races are organised during the day with a great lunch of soup and sandwiches. Plenty of cakes to have with a cuppa.

Opening regatta 2026
Skiff rowing at the opening regatta With calm waters and eager rowers, the scene was set for the skiff races on Sunday morning!. The first race started as the clock turned 10.00 AM, the two skiff crews made their way to the berry barrel to line up and prepare for the 1km race with Tony (cox), Elaine, Mark, Judith and Lesley coming in 1st place against Graham (cox), Gillian, Maggie, Jules and Gregor.

What a great evening at the loch last night for the first (hopefully of many) Runners vs Rowers competition. Skiffie world in Stranraer
Forfar Sailing and Watersports Club is entering teams into the Skiffie worlds in Stranraer later this year and is out training hard on Forfar Loch. If you are walking around the loch and see them, give them a wave of encouragement ... and you might get a wave back!
