It may not look like it but the Forfar SC web site has changed. The software used to run the site has been updated to the latest version, which has involved building the site again from scratch as the changes in the update were so major. As you will appreciate any software update brings the risk of something not working as expected, even after testing, so if you come across anything that looks wrong, use the "contact webmaster" link at the bottom of the front page to pass along the information and we'll do what we can to fix it. |

When I was last Commodore it was at the start of the electronic age of communication. The Commodore's Chat provided an update of what was happening in Forfar Sailing Club in hard copy and every member has a copy of this letter, sent by snail mail.
2010 is our 51st year of existence. It will be a year of challenges - more anon!

Although Forfar Sailing Club has closed for the year the fisherman are carrying on throughout the winter, going for coarse fish and in particular pike.

A reminder of the 2009 major project and what was achieved through a successful grant application. Thanks to a grant provided by Awards For All Scotland Forfar Sailing Club was, this year, finally able to replace its ageing clubhouse roof section.
