The weekend of 24th and 25th was the second training weekend for newcomers to the sport and members were busy instructing in a variety of boats.
Both days were on the windy side. Saturdays conditions were just manageable, while Sunday's were gusty and exciting, despite heavily reefed sails, making teaching whilst upright an art in itself (yet with only one spectacular Wayfarer capsize). Everyone, including the instructors had a good time.
The club would like to thank everyone who gave up their time to instruct or assist during the previous 2 training weekends and looks forward to seeing the trainees return, honing their skills.
